So I have not been active on here for awhile and I figured I needed to hop on for some updates on why. WELL once I figured out how to because I haven't submitted a journal since DA changed it's layout.

First thing is YEAH I'm still here. YEAH still making stuff just not as often and a lot of the stuff I made in 2020 was more craft related then drawing. Not that I wasn't drawing, but I was way more inspired painting planters, making Halloween Christmas tree ornaments, making button and pompom trees etc. I was really enjoying that this last year. Drawing was more an after thought and when it got done I just didn't feel up to sharing it past sometimes a quick snapshot to instagram.

Secondly I was busy with work, family stuff (like a death in the family) and dealing with health stuff outside of the current uh health situation going on. A lot of it was and still is mental health stuff that's impacted (but managed) by everything currently going on so I just have not had the energy to put into well much outside of work or projects I was inspired to do. This is how things seem to panning out for early 2021 too. I can't guarantee when I'll be back creating actively. I hope to have a sketchbook tour soonish and I think I have a few older art/craft videos that I can share, but alas not much else for the time being.

And like always I am late with these journals, but for pride month I decided to draw my LGBTQ+ characters and their partners for pride.

This is the second of the series and features my character Silvia with her SO Wix being ADORABLE on their wedding day.

This one is the first of the mini series and features my characters Daniel and Jasmin. As well as their SO's (whom I don't own) Fawn and Killian... Or as I refer to him as MR K because I... Have no idea how his owner imagines it being said.

And here we go back in time to see the few remnants of my childhood art. Some of it I'm thankful didn't survive (Okay MOSTLY didn't survive.), but most it's like I'D LIKE TO SEE WHAT LITTLE ME LIKED TO DRAW! I remember her LOVING to do that trick with paper where you fold it, put paint down the middle or one side and then you SMOOSH it together to spread into a blob. Can't tell you how often I'd do that and hang old art up on either side of the staircase as an "art show". Grade A little dork.
